Labiaplasty is performed on either the labia majora (the outer vaginal lips) or the labia minora (the smaller, inner vaginal lips) to “tighten up” loose skin that has resulted from either childbirth or heredity.

This procedure can correct asymmetry, reduce the size, or change the shape of the labia. Labiaplasty can also relieve discomfort, aid in proper hygiene, and prevent chafing from undergarments and clothing.
