I believe plastic surgery is about more than changing appearances — it’s about restoring confidence and helping people feel like their best selves.

I began my journey in medicine after earning my undergraduate degree in English from Tulane University, followed by my M.D. from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1997. I went on to complete my residency in General and Plastic Surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. During that time, I served as a Research Fellow at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, focusing on craniofacial anomalies, and later completed advanced fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Jeffrey Fearon at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

From 2005 to 2016, I practiced as a craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgeon with Plastic Surgery Associates in Salt Lake City, holding staff positions at Primary Children’s Medical Center, Intermountain Medical Center, Riverton Hospital, and Utah Valley Hospital.

In 2017, I founded Selarom Plastic Surgery & Medical Spa, where I currently serve as the owner and lead surgeon. I oversee an AAAA-accredited ambulatory center where we provide aesthetic procedures such as breast surgery, abdominoplasty, body contouring, post-bariatric surgery, liposuction, and facial rejuvenation.

I am board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) — the only plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties — and maintain hospital privileges at St. Mark’s Hospital, Timpanogos Regional Hospital, Utah Valley Hospital, and Lone Peak Hospital. Over the years, I have been honored with awards such as the Washington University School of Medicine Resident of the Year and the Junior Investigator Research Grant from The Cleft Palate Foundation. I have presented at numerous national and international conferences and continue to stay active in the field’s top professional organizations.
